ca. 1958 Magnatone Custom 280 2x12" 50W Combo with tube-driven Stereo Vibrato The classic Maggie sound with original speakers; Two channels, 4 inputs, footswitchable stereo/mono vibrato; L&R channel extension speaker outs. This one came in black leatherette; newer handle and grillecloth. Very clean and extremely musical.
A classic 1969 Fender Coronado XII in Custom Orange. Missing pickguard and tailpiece "F" plaque. Has small surface crack on face between volume knob and F hole binding: cosmetic flaws only. All original, good frets on slim, fast neck in nice figured maple, with binding. Great single-coil DeArmond-made Fender-logo pickups have that jangle thang goin on. Custom Orange color shows little wear and no fading, with no major blems or checks. With original yellow plush-lined hardshell case in good condition.
Sunburst Tigerstripe Imported bolt-neck version of the perennially popular 2-HB Special, this one has lots of extras like 24k gold-plated Wilkinson wraparound bridge, jackplate and Gibson gold-plated deluxe tuners. Nice tigerstripe maple face on mahogany slab body. HSC like new.

1962 Gretsch 6134 Corvette Cherry
Slab-bodied double-cutaway in Cherry Sunburst with factory Burns vibrato and “G”-logo single coil Hi-LoTron pickup. Reverse 2+4 headstock. Finish nearly perfect with only surface blems, chrome bright; slim , straight neck with small frets in great shape. Nut may be newer; G-string tuner knob replaced. Original brown softshell case very clean.

974 Fender Stratocaster Blonde Very good Condition NFSA three-bolt hardtail with the large headstock and tons of soul. My brother-in-law picked it out from a whole rack of new Fenders – of all of them, this one had the sweet neck. My first axe.
Maxon AD-900 Analog Delay
The '70s vintage-style 3-knob delay with the the big purple metal case. Yields a full 600µS delay, with true bypass. Runs on 12V power supply offering more headroom for cleaner sound from hot signals. Excellent Condition, with velcro on bottom for quick installation on pedal boards

This Blackface Bandmaster AB763 is sweet as honey with shimmer and punch to die for. Cosmetically a 9 and sonically an 11. All original, with Mesa power tubes. No issues, just tone.

1965 Epiphone EA-12 Futura. All-tube 25W 4x10” 2-channel combo with reverb & tremolo, in clean gray tolex with immaculate wheat grillecloth, all-original.
Push-pull twin 7591 power tubes (as in AA1069 Fender Pro Reverb circuit); tremolo oscillator also similar to Fender’s with a wide range of speed. Preamp uses 4x 6EU7 & 2x 12AU7 tubes.
Mid-60’s Gibson amp design philosophy was “Hi-Fi” – this Epi was given the circuitry & 4x10” driver array to produce a clean signal complementing a variety of musical styles & instruments, especially Gibson & Epiphone guitars with moderately-high output HB pickups. The manual for the EA-12 describes PA sound reinforcement applications for the amp’s 2 channels & 4 inputs. Large semi-closed cabinet – 30”W x26”H x10”D tuned for a spacious, detailed tone with lots of bass & top end.
‘50s Gretch-Valco Model 6161 Electromatic Twin with Tremolo A rare old point-to-point tube combo with twin 11”x7” oval Rolas and a Tweeter, wraparound grill with portal; chassis mounted vertically. Original pair of 6V6 tubes develop some 15W into 2 ohms. I look forward to reconing, recapping and recovering this amp for my own playing pleasure. Thinking of oxhide to match my 100 year old sofa, recently recovered and rebuilt. It’ll be a nice living room amp.
1969 Fender Silverface Twin Reverb No Master Vol Serial # A 17249 A cherished instrument kept in perfect tune by its previous owner, ready for the next gig. 1962 National Studio 66 Sand Hollow Res-O-Glas Electric Guitar in “Sand” color with single-coil pickup in lead position, Art-Deco style scalloped pickup cover in black. All-original, straight neck with excellent frets and great tone. Small finish-only crack at bass side of neck near 1st fret on surface. Plays and sounds great – an American mid-century design classic.

All-original with 2 hot single coils, stereo & mono outs, “R” tailpiece, wide nut and medium-slim neck-through-body with great action; frets like new. Slight buckle wear on back; finish bright and free of other blems.
Circa Y2K Danelectro Baritone in Black
Get your tic-tac, Morricone, Duane Eddy and deep six tones here. A useful studio and stage tool at a great price, fits between guitar and bass in the mix. A faithful turn-of-the millennium reissue of the mid-century original, with Dano's signature masonite/poplar/masonite semi-hollow body construction yielding a nice acoustic resonance; twin AlNiCo lipstick tube pickups adjust through the back, 24 nickel frets on rosewood fingerboard with fixed rosewood bridge saddle. Play great and intones perfectly all over the neck.

1961 Harmony H322 Bass Amp Rare & unusual Chicago-built all-tube 4 x8” combo with original Jensen Blue Label drivers, original tubes: Amperex GZ34, 2 Amperex 12AX7;s and a pair of Westinghouse 7591 power tubes. Gives a fat, round midrange growl perfect for guitar or harp. 2 inputs labeled “Bass or Guitar” and a hotter one for “Mic or Accordion”. Cabinet in Very Good Condition, charcoal cloth covering with light wear; only light snags on upper left of grill cloth; Harmony Logo clean; no rust on panel, all markings clear. Beautiful blues amp, compact and lightweight.
1952 Gibson GA-40 Les Paul Amp, re-covered some time ago in brown vinyl, with new Weber VST 12A125-O Classic AlNiCo speaker, newer handle and footswitch. First-generation of the Les Paul guitar amp, 14W output from a pair of Sovtek 6V6's, two channels with tremolo. Single Mic input yields fabulous compression and overdrive at moderate volume; 3 'guitar' inputs: separate volume controls for each channel allow for bridging and mixing both channels. Master Tone knob and 3- position tremolo rate control. Newly serviced and running perfectly, with new electrolytics; all original transformers. This compact combo will grind like a baby Marshall at moderate volume. Get your Blues on!
Holland Gibb Droll 45W 2-Channel Hand wired point-to-point 21st century upgrade of Tweed Fender Bassman, augmented with speaker-driven reverb. 4x10” Eminence drivers and Groove Tubes. Each of Mike Holland’s amps was created as a unique piece of electronic craft: components’ electronic values were individually measured and matched to yield a unique sonic profile. This one is super-sweet sounding, very aggressive and detailed in tone.
1966 Ampeg GS-12R Reverberocket 2
Serial # 029398 dates manufacture as early 1966.
A pair of JJ 7591 power tubes, cathode-biased yield 15W output. Just serviced (recapped) for great performance with no issues. New handle, jewel light bezel, screws in back panel; all else including hardwired footswitch and Jensen C12R speaker original. Some wear on corners of blue diamond-cloth tolex.
Ampeg's signature capacitance-driven reverb circuit yields a lush sound, and coupled with clean headroom of 7591 power tubes makes this a good choice for surf guitarists. Rugged point-to-point wiring, reliability and top quality parts make this amp a bargain compared to Fender Deluxe Reverb of similar vintage.
1976 Fender Silverface Super Reverb Serial # B 59818 Just serviced, with all new electrolytics, matched and biased power tubes. 3 original Fender Jensen AlNiCo 10’s augmented with a single Music Man Eminence Ceramic 10 for punch. My tech covets this amp – sounds better than his own!
Mid-60s Silvertone model #1484 Twin 12 Piggyback all-tube point-to-point wired 40W amp head-&-cabinet with Reverb and Tremolo, in classic Sears Roebuck grey tweed; clean with no tears, scuffs or snags. Slight tarnish on control panel and transformer housing, otherwise without blemish. All tubes are NOS; twin metal-cased JAN CRC-6L6 power tubes, Silvertone Dutch-made 12AX7’s in preamp, RCA 6CG7recto, trem & reverb; original Jensen C12O ceramic speakers, new capacitors, with master volume added (knob in Standby switch position on panel), 3-prong power cord. Sears, Roebuck & Co. serial #185.11040 on back panel plaque. The one amp that best defined the sound of garage rock in the ‘60s. Take a trip today.
1965/66 Fender Blackface Vibro Champ-Amp AA764 Serial # A05925
Date code “OG” in black ink on tube chart signifies July1965 manufacture. Blackface in original condition with new filtercaps, NOS RCA 6V6, Mullard 12AX7, Ruby 5AR4C and Yugo tubes and a newer, correct blue-label Jensen P8R, so you can crank without fear of blowing a 40-year old speaker. Gorgeous cosmetic condition and perfect performance with no issues. Comes with original Fender amplifier instruction Manual (showing full line of amps in full color!), Mfr. Guarantee & Schematic, in original envelope.
Mid-60’s Supro-Valco Statesman S6699 Rare piggyback 2-channel 50w tube head & matching 2x12” cab. One new Hammond output transformer installed by Stan Bailey of Mojotronix: head actually has 2x25W parallel output sections, running a pair of 6L6’s each discretely through separate transformers into the cab which is wired in stereo. Mono preamp so no stereo effects. Great Supro crunch and drive with Reverb and Tremolo to boot.
Matchless Chieftain 1x12 40W Class A hand-wired tube combo in black tolex.
Single channel with Active EQ, Reverb, Effects loop, and Tube Rectifier. This powerhouse of premier boutique amp manufacture is in great condition; just a few light dings and no tears in tolex. Serial #C4825; Transformer stamped 12 18 96 which indicates late 1996 or early 1997 amp assembly: the Sampson era of the best Matchless amp production.
